Handling stress
A major part of your life is emotional health and well-being. Fulfillment in your emotional health can contribute to leading a satisfying and successful life. Factors involved in satisfying emotional well-being are that you should to be able to handle stress, be aware of your feelings, and appreciate the talents you have. Women often let stress get the best of them. It is not what happens to you, it is what you do about it. Stress can be good for you, if it is managed in a positive sense. Mild stress can move you to action and keep you alert. Stress often means that you have to change something in your life or be prepared for something new to happen. But " change is never a loss - it is change only" (Vernon Howard) and every end is a new beginning. You should deal with stress by changing the perception of the problem and that of yourself. Acknowledge your feelings. Situations usually cause emotions and feelings. You can acknowledge stress, sadness, anger and such. You can say:" That situation makes me feel angry" for example, but then move on. You should not let such negative feelings ruin your day or hurt people around you. Appreciate your talents: You should look at what you have done and appreciate your achievement. Don't look at yourself as someone who needs correcting or who has missing character traits. Rather consider yourself as a constantly developing and improving person. Thus you seek growth and change. Be motivated by goals that have deep meaning and dreams that need completion, rather than trying to fulfill deficiency in your life. Normally we all have our good days and our bad days. Days when the world seems to be with us, and days when the opposite appears to be true. Most people accept these minor mood swings and copes with them, but in some people these changes are dramatically exaggerated into what we call depression or anxiety. These health problems are caused by alterations in the balance between the different chemicals in your brain that control mood. There are successful form of treatment available. Spontaneous recovery can sometimes occur. |

Simple Breathing Relaxation Techniques for relieving symptoms of stress, anxiety and panic attack. Techniques that create the
relaxation response - a calmer mind and a more relaxed body- a great
for treating stress and This technique consist of 5 phase . You should do each phase for at least 1-1.5 minutes . All together the relaxation should take 5-8 minutes. Phase 1: Lie on your back on a bed or floor. Place one or two pillow on your stomach. Watch the tops of the pillows from the corner of your eye. As you breathe in, your diaphragm should expand, raising the pillows. When you breathe out, the pillows should move down again. Phase 2: Lie on your back without the pillows and put one hand over your navel. Look at the ceiling or close your eyes. Take deep breaths. With your hand, feel your stomach moving up and down. Phase 3: Repeat phase two, but keep your attention on your diaphragm and feel it move up and down. You should become one with your breathing. Phase 4: Sit on a sofa, leaning back so you can watch your stomach area. Watch your diaphragm move up as you breathe and down as you breathe out. Phase 5: Sitting straight, repeat phase four. Be sure that your upper chest and shoulders are perfectly still; that's a sign that you are doing the exercise correctly. Phase 6: While standing, repeat phase five.
